Better late than never, eh?  My birdcage pattern was chosen for the Society of Illustrators student competition a few months back and ta da, a lovely lady wearing it.

Four Horsemen

May 30, 2012

This illustration accompanies a Tor story about the four horsemen of the apocalypse wandering the world after they had destroyed it.  We find them at their next adventure, planting a tree.  Its a weird one.  This drawing may show up again if I can figure out better colors.

Feed me

May 27, 2012

This is a book cover for the novel “Feed”.  Its a futuristic story about corporate takeover, everything from schools to clouds are run and manufactured by big business and people basically have facebook chips in their brains.  This project gave me fits.

Hansel and gretel

May 15, 2012

Here’s another one.  This is my drawing from a small book of classic Grimm fairy tales that a few of us did, these two here are Hansel and Gretel.  Our goal was to focus on dark shapes and silhouettes.  Might end up redrawing the kids, They turned out a little wonky because I drew them small but for now this’ll have to do.
