Ive been busy lately, I dont have much to show for myself. I have been working on a few things though. This is a poster for a friend’s band in Richmond. It incorporates a lot of design elements so its been quite the challenge, very slow going. I wanted to draw animals so this is what came of it, I ended up drawing every animal. I had hoped to have it done already but the only thing I can promise is that someday it will be completed, and when that day comes Ill post it here. Stay classy, world.
So I finally got to draw an astronaut and by accident stumbled up this color scheme, one of those happy accidents I guess. Thank god for the insane amount of layer options in photoshop, that I have yet to fully figure out. I had a good time drawing this one. My first true personal piece and I think its a step up.
Here’s a personal piece I started awhile back. I’ve had a strange obsession with astronauts as of late and I guess it had to be done, I’m drawing one. I am going to Amsterdam in a few days and it might have to take a seat for awhile. Im still working out the flat colors and I have been dabbling a lot lately with overlaying textures so thats what ya see here. Ive made it black and white, the colors are a little wild at the moment.
